Welcome to the Office of Continuing Education & Distributed Learning’s (CEDL’s) Blog/Wiki Portal. This is your first point-of-entry to course blogs and wikis created and supported by CEDL. From this page you can link to your course blog and/or wiki, access reference material and online tutorials, and contact us for technical support.
Technical Support
Under the Resources link (under Pages to the right) you’ll find tutorials on how to use blogs and wikis. If further technical support is required, please send your request to cedl.support@lakeheadu.ca . We can also be reached by phone during regular office hours (8:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. EST) at 807-346-7730. Questions specifically related to course content should be directed to your instructor.
Support questions concerning other applications should be directed to the university helpdesk at helpdesk@lakeheadu.ca or by calling 807-346-7777.
Logging into your Course Blog
Click on the title of your course blog under the Course Blogs heading in the navigation menu to the right of this screen. At the login prompt, enter your Lakehead University email account username (excluding @lakeheadu.ca) and password.
Each blog will be set up differently and for different purposes; therefore, students are encouraged to carefully read instructions noted in their course blog for its intended function including how and when your contributions will be made. Remember, if you need technical assistance, please contact CEDL.
Logging into your Course Wiki
Click on the title of your course wiki under the Course Wikis heading in the navigation menu to the right. You will arrive at the course wiki Main Page. Click the log in link located in the upper right corner of the wiki and login using your Lakehead University email username (excluding @lakeheadu.ca) and password.
Your instructor will outline how and when contributions to the course wiki will be made.
Lost Your Password?
Send an email to cedl.support@lakeheadu.ca with your username, the blog or wiki you’re trying to log in to, and the error message you are receiving.
Note: Only registered students have access to course blogs and wikis. Login authentication is required to participate in these sites.
Notices, updates, and other relevant news about course blogs and wikis from CEDL will be posted under the Announcements category.

To request a blog or wiki for your course, please complete and submit this form. You will be contacted upon receipt of that request to discuss the development of the site(s).
